Research

BRiCS Lab for Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems is the place of intensive research & development activities. In general, there are several principles we stick to:

1. Develop close connections with partners from industry. This does not only provide us with necessary funds for working, but it brings new technologies in our Lab and gives opportunities to our students and engineers to work on state-of-the-art industry-related projects in real industry conditions (fulfilling all specifications, obeying deadlines and sharing responsibility).

2. Collaborate with leading laboratories in the world, develop own solutions ("know-how") and rapidly acquire new knowledge to be able to satisfy industry needs.

3. Develop individual skills, encourage self-initiative, develop a team work spirit, insist on efficacious way of planning, develop critical thinking and raise the level of tolerance within project groups.

4. Take active participation in local and international gatherings, seminars, presentations, workshops, symposiums, conferences and congresses.

5. Maintain a high level of engagement in research and scientific work taking care that such a work gets approved in the engineering practice (we are fond of theory that produces practical results and we are searching for the theory that explains practical achievements)
